Who is Adarsh

Many of you are probably wondering what is or who is Adarsh?

Adarsh is a Sanskrit word, meaning “Ideal.” It was my mothers’ name and she for sure epitomized the meaning of the word. She left for heaven many years ago, yet she is alive through our actions. She believed that prayers are offered by taking care of God’s creation including fellow human beings in need. Going to a religious place alone is not sufficient unless we take care of what God has created; everything and everyone around us.

We could not have thought of a better name for our foundation than Adarsh Charitable Foundation to continue promoting her ideals of “Living is Giving.” We know it is not easy to live up to her ideals, but we will continue to make sincere efforts to follow in her footsteps. We are confident that through our work and with continuous moral and financial support from all of you we will be able to make a small difference in a small part of the world.
